What's the difference between Premium Support and Enterprise?
Premium Support gets you Captain AI, custom branding, agent capacity management, and priority email support. Enterprise has everything in Premium Support plus SSO/SAML, roles & permissions, and SLA policies for teams that need them.
How does Captain AI work with self-hosted?
Captain AI connects to OpenAI's GPT models to power features like reply suggestions, conversation summaries, and the AI assistant. It comes with Premium Support and Enterprise plans. If you have questions about how data is handled, please email hello@chatwoot.com.
What support do I get?
With the community edition, you can ask questions on Discord and GitHub. Premium Support adds priority email support. Enterprise includes phone support and dev office hours where you can talk to our engineering team about upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes, you can start with the community edition and upgrade whenever you want. Your data and settings carry over. If you need help migrating a larger deployment, please email sales@chatwoot.com.
What do I need to run Chatwoot?
You'll need a Linux server with PostgreSQL and Redis. For file uploads, S3 or any S3-compatible storage works. We have deployment guides for Docker, Kubernetes, and most cloud providers. For production, start with at least 4GB RAM and 2 CPU cores.
What's your refund policy?
Premium Support plans are refundable based on how much time is left. Enterprise plans aren't refundable because they include dedicated setup and onboarding. If you're not sure which plan works for you, please email sales@chatwoot.com before buying.
