How does Captain AI pricing work?
Every paid plan comes with free Captain AI credits each month — 300 for Startups, 500 for Business, and 800 for Enterprise. These credits cover features like reply suggestions, message summarization, and knowledge base answers. If you need more, additional credits are billed at $20 per 1,000. You can track your usage anytime in your billing dashboard.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, we offer refunds for all Cloud plans. The refund amount is calculated based on your cancellation date and unused time. Note that Captain AI credits are non-refundable since they're usage-based. If you're not happy with Chatwoot for any reason, just reach out to us at sales@chatwoot.com.
How do I upgrade my plan?
You can upgrade anytime from your dashboard. Head to Settings → Billing, and you'll see all available plans along with what's included in each. You can also view your past invoices and update your payment method from the same page.
Where is my data hosted?
Chatwoot Cloud runs on AWS with servers located in the United States. If you have specific data residency requirements or compliance questions (like GDPR or SOC 2), feel free to reach out to us at hello@chatwoot.com and we'll be happy to help.
Do you offer discounts for open source or nonprofits?
We do! We believe in supporting the community, so we offer the Startups plan free of charge for open source projects. If you're working on an open source project or a nonprofit, send us an email at hello@chatwoot.com with some details about what you're building, and we'll get you set up.
Can I export my data?
Yes, your data belongs to you. You can use our API to export your conversations, contacts, and other data anytime. If you need help, reach out to hello@chatwoot.com.
